Bitrefill is remote-first. This is full-time. You'll need solid overlap with both European and Latin American time zones.

What is Bitrefill?

Bitrefill lets people spend crypto on real stuff: gift cards, mobile top-ups, subscriptions, bill payments. 180+ countries. Profitable since launch. 12+ years in and still building.

About 90 people, fully distributed. Product decisions are made close to the work. You'll sit in a focused squad of 5-7 engineers and designers who take pride in what they ship. Few meetings. Lots of autonomy.

Web3 focus

The market has been shifting. DeFi users are moving from speculation toward investing. Yield positions, airdrop proceeds, stablecoin salaries: real wealth that people want to use without friction. Bitrefill needs a product manager who understands this transition and can build for it.

The job

Bitrefill's early product calls came from people who live on crypto themselves. That intuition built the foundation, but at our scale intuition alone isn't enough. This role turns scattered knowledge about crypto-native users into a systematic product strategy.

The hard problems

These, and plenty more, are still open:

• Many chains, one checkout. Users hold assets across Arbitrum, Base, Solana, and elsewhere. Checkout has to feel simple without obscuring the complexity that actually matters.

• Wallets are messy. WalletConnect sessions drop, signing flows vary across wallets, and mobile browser behavior is inconsistent. A payment experience that works reliably across all of this doesn't exist yet.

• The liquidity moment. Someone claims an airdrop or exits a lending position. Now they have liquidity. Reaching them at the right moment without being intrusive is an unsolved design problem.

• Trust at size. High-value users transact thousands per month. A $2,000 gift card purchase needs confidence the system will work. That trust has to be built into the product itself.

What you'll do

• Own discovery, planning, and delivery for crypto-native features, end to end

• Talk directly with people who spend crypto daily: their wallet setups, workarounds, and frustrations

• Decide which chains, wallets, and protocols we integrate, based on usage data, not market hype

• Write specs with clear requirements and acceptance criteria, manage the backlog, and ship alongside engineering and design

• Coordinate across compliance, marketing, support, and operations

• Represent Bitrefill in crypto communities and at industry conferences

Who you are

Experience

• 8+ years in product management, ideally in payments, e-commerce, or fintech

• A track record of shipping products with real adoption

• Experience leading work across distributed teams and time zones

• You break big problems into shippable increments

• You get engineering, design, and business aligned

• Clear writer: specs, decision docs, async updates

Web3 fluency

• Crypto-native. You use it, you follow where it's headed, and nobody needs to explain crypto to you

• Hands-on with DeFi: vaults, collateralized positions, bridging, gas dynamics

• You know wallet UX on desktop and mobile, including where it breaks

Working with AI

• AI is already part of how you work: drafting specs, building quick prototypes, sharpening written communication

• You use it to close the gap between product thinking and technical implementation

• Self-directed. You're not waiting for an AI strategy to be handed down

Mindset

• Skeptical of hype, curious about actual usage patterns

• You'd rather ship small things that work than big things that don't

• Comfortable with ambiguity, and good at creating clarity for others
